Denominator
From Encyclopedia of Mathematics
of an arithmetical fraction $a/b$
An integer $b$, indicating ( "denominating" ) the magnitude of the aliquot fractions that make up the fraction. The denominator of an algebraic fraction $A/B$ is the expression $B$ (see Fraction).
