A generalization of a [[Riemannian space|Riemannian space]]. It is a space in small regions of which the [[Minkowski geometry|Minkowski geometry]] approximately holds. A Finsler space is essentially the same as a Finsler manifold, that is, a differentiable manifold supplied with a [[Finsler metric|Finsler metric]].
