Program scheme
From Encyclopedia of Mathematics
A formal constructive object obtained from programs (cf. Program) by abstraction from the lexicographical peculiarities in writing it down in the formal programming language used and from the meaning of the elementary actions and objects used in the program. Program schemes are used in theoretical programming.
