Correct/correction
I can find no trace of these terms in the literature. Are they perhaps mistranslated? Richard Pinch (talk) 21:01, 6 November 2016 (CET)
- Why? Try this:
- General Topology and Its Relations to Modern Analysis and Algebra 2: Proceedings of the Second Prague Topological Symposium, 1966
- Z. Frolík, M. Katětov, V. Pták, Academic Press, 12 May 2014.
- On page 333:
- The origins of the theory of proximity spaces can be found in the papers of Riesz [6], [18], Wallace [33] and, of Efremovic [8] ... A sufficiently elaborated theory of proximity spaces has appeared in the papers [23], [24], [25], [26].
- Also our ref [a1]:
- S. A. Naimpally and B.D.Warrack, "Proximity Spaces", 1970, Series: Cambridge Tracts in Mathematics (No. 59).
- Boris Tsirelson (talk) 21:52, 6 November 2016 (CET)
- I'm quite well acquainted wth the term proximity space. I can find no trace of the terms correct space or correction space on Zentralblatt or (in this context) on Google Books. Richard Pinch (talk) 21:58, 6 November 2016 (CET)
