Terminology
The words "dexiotropic" and "leotropic" are very rare in modern English. Listing's original text (in German, see [1]) uses sinistrosum and dextrorsum, which are good Latin (Horace), and symbols $)),\,(($. "Right-handed" and "left-handed" would be clearer.
