Hyperbolic cylinder
From Encyclopedia of Mathematics
A straight cylindrical surface of the second order with a hyperbola as directrix. The canonical equation of a hyperbolic cylinder has the form
$$\frac{x^2}{a^2}-\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1.$$
