conformal Chebyshev net
A net such that each quadrangle formed by two pairs of curves of the different families has equal sides up to infinitesimals of order 1. On a surface of revolution, the asymptotic net is a rhombic net. For instance, on a hyperboloid of revolution the rectilinear generators form a rhombic net.

Cf. also Chebyshev net.
