Hi Juan José, welcome aboard hear. Yes, we appreciate any converting help very much! --Ulf Rehmann 13:31, 3 May 2012 (CEST)

Many thanks for the welcome. I'm still a bit lost here, but I'll try to learn how this works. Just a preliminary question: as I TeX encode pages, should I completely remove the old links to images? Should I wait for verification from someone in the editorial board? --Juan José Torrens 23:00, 3 May 2012 (CEST)
Did you see our help page? Depending on how you work, you can either start by removing/replacing one image after the other, leaving a partially modified page if time does not permit you to finish, or you can use one of our assisting tools. We have these tex categories into which you should put your work. A page should always left completely readable, so images which have been removed should also have been re-encoded by the appropriate tex code. Some also seem to work by putting a partially converted page temporarily into its associated discussion page, until it was finished (here it is of coures tolerable to have a page with all images removed while some formulas have not yet been encoded). Verification will be done eventually after finishing the re-encoding. --Ulf Rehmann 10:51, 4 May 2012 (CEST)
