What symbol for imaginary "i" sholud we use. Is $z=x+iy$ ok? Or it shold be something like $z=x+\imath y$ or $x+i\mkern1mu y$
- I like $\newcommand{\I}{ {\rm i} }$ $z=x+\I y$ (probably borrowed from a Springer style). --Boris Tsirelson (talk) 14:48, 6 March 2013 (CET)
