- Very nice. But I wonder, why $|f(b_i)-f(a_i)|$ in the classical definition. I am used to $|f(a_{i+1})-f(a_i)|$, and Wikipedia does so. After thinking a bit I see that it is equivalent, but is there a reason to prefer this way? --Boris Tsirelson 07:44, 28 August 2012 (CEST)
- No. And indeed all references I have looked at use the Wikipedia convention (I wonder now where I got the other one...). I will adjust it to the usual convention. Camillo 08:39, 28 August 2012 (CEST)
