Inscribed broken line

A line consisting of a finite number of rectilinear segments , the ends , , of which lie on a given planar or spatial curve, the points being taken in increasing order of the parameter on the curve. For example, a special case of an inscribed broken line for is an inscribed angle. See also Inscribed and circumscribed figures.
