How common is nowadays the notation Dini derivative? During my studies, I passed daily in front of the statue of our celebrated Ulisse Dini on my way to the math department... nonetheless I never heard of it! But then... in Italy the attribution to italian mathematicians seems to follow strange paths :-)) Camillo 08:55, 7 August 2012 (CEST)
