May I give some hints? You can use tex macros via \def or \newcommand. Hence a prelininary entry <nowiki> $\def\Pf{\mathrm{Pf}\;}$</nowiki> will allow you to write <nowiki>$\Pf$</nowiki> instead of <nowiki>$\mathrm{Pf}\;}$</nowiki> through the rest of the file, saving you some further typing. Also, if a wedge is used as a binary operator,  \wedge is prefered over \bigwedge, so that  the two displayed formulas would look like
$\def\Pf{\mathrm{Pf}\;}$
$$u = \sum_{i < j} x_{ij} e_i \wedge e_j \in \bigwedge^2 A,$$ 
and
$$\bigwedge^n u =n! (\Pf X) e_1 \wedge \ldots \wedge e_{2n}.$$
