View source for Minkowski geometry

The geometry of a finite-dimensional [[Normed space|normed space]], that is, an affine space with a Minkowski metric — a metric invariant under parallel translation — in which the role of the unit sphere is played by a given centrally-symmetric [[Convex body|convex body]].

Note that the geometry of special relativity theory (cf. [[Space-time|Space-time]]), which is not of this type, is also called Minkowski geometry.
