==Ambiguity==
There are at least two other possible meaning of "Fréchet space".  One is as a synonym for [[T1 space]], and the other is the specific space of real sequences with the [[Fréchet metric]] $d((x_i),(y_i)) = \sum_i 2^{-i} |x_i-y_i|/(1+|x_i-y_i|)$: both these latter are mentioned in Steen and Seebach's, ''Counterexamples in Topology'' (2 ed.).  One also has the concept of a [[Fréchet V-space]] and of a [[Fréchet–Urysohn space]], the latter concept being stated to be synonymous with Fréchet space in Hart et al ''Encyclopedia of General Topology''.
